GenRes Study Day 2011

The highlight of the day was a debate led by Anna Middleton, Ethics Researcher & Registered Genetic Counsellor from The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute on 'Ethics, Genetics and Who Wants to be a Millionaire?' using live voting software. Other speakers included Susan Fairgrieve, Genetics Education Facilitator, NHS National Genetics Education & Development Centre who gave an 'Introduction to Genetics'. The feedback from the group after the meeting was that it was really beneficial to be able to meet, network and discuss problems and ways of improving recruitment.
