ACGS Communications Committee

The Communications Subcommittee is responsible for facilitating communication between the Executive Committee of the ACGS and its members in order to keep members informed of developments within the profession. The Communications Subcommittee will promote the activities of the ACGS and membership of the ACGS to external societies, companies and individuals.

Applications to join the Communications Subcommittee by individuals keen to contribute may be submitted at any time. Please send a short summary of what motivates you to join and any particular skills you have to offer along with a covering letter to the chair of the committee Hazel.Dinning@nuh.nhs.uk

    Congratulations to Sian Ellard on being awarded an OBE in the Queen's recent birthday honours for services to patient care. Sian is Professor of Genomic Medicine at the University of Exeter Medical School and the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital's (RD&E) Consultant Clinical Scientist.  Professor Ellard leads a ground-breaking genomics programme set to transform healthcare for generations to come.
